WEDNESDAY Craft Club with Nicky May Bolland

Booking Link >
Every Wednesday
From 15:45

Craft Club offers kids and young people an opportunity to explore their creativity using different materials and to learn different art and craft processes together.  This session is aimed at kids between 9 and 15 (though there isn't a specific age-limit). The club offers access to different creative resources, with a focus on recycled and found materials * (fellow magpies welcome!).  Crafters will be encouraged to pursue their own projects and ambitions in the session, with input and guidance from the lead artist as well as guest crafters.

Ticket option 1: £12 per child per class (£48 per child per pilot block)

Ticket option 2: £10 per child per class (£40 per child, per block)

Ticket option 3: £8 per child per class (£32 per child, per block)

At this point we are asking familes to block book - but if there is enough interest for the Club to continue we aim to offer a drop in approach.

We really welcome donations of jewellry making supplies (old strings of beads gathering dust), textiles, and any other craft materials you might have in a cupboard that you'd like to share.

Star Star Star Star Star

We had not planned to present a hybrid festival, however that changed when one of our main authors tested positive for Covid. I greatly appreciated how the team worked with us to pivot and present remotely in part, making full use of your enhanced video conferencing equipment. As a result, we were able to deliver quite complex events with several elements all showing on screen simultaneously. The audio-visual quality was excellent, and our audiences were delighted that these events could still go ahead, in spite of Covid. The author in question was really pleased that he could join us on screen and remarked that he had not been so well supported in this way at any other festival.
