A Giant on the Bridge

A Giant On The Bridge

19 March 2026
What happens when someone leaves prison and tries to find their way home?

A Giant on the Bridge is an award-winning piece of gig theatre that explores this question through a captivating blend of original songwriting, Scottish hip-hop, and immersive storytelling.

Created alongside people with lived experience of the criminal justice system, this is not a news headline - it's a human story. It's about identity, family, community, and what it really feels like to return to an uncertain future. Featuring an incredible lineup of Scottish musical talent - including members of Admiral Fallow and acclaimed hip-hop artists Solareye and Raveloe - this is theatre that hits hard, musically and emotionally.

Described as "a work of art, and utterly charming" (Lost in Theatreland) , this is a rare chance to see how real-life stories can be transformed into compelling contemporary performance.

"The strength of A Giant on the Bridge is its earnest desire to share the feelings, impact and challenges of coming out of prison." Sophie Good, for AllEdinburghTheatre.com
