Birnam & Dunkeld Film Society 26/27 Season

Sun 30 Aug - 11 Apr

Description

Birnam & Dunkeld Film Society was founded in 2003 when, following a generous donation, Birnam Arts was able to install a cinema screen and digital projector. Members benefit from a programme of films which are shown at Birnam Arts on the second Sunday of each month from September through to April. The cost of a membership for the 26/27 season is £40, giving you access to 8 screenings for just £5 per film.

The society's film screenings are open to all - not just members - with the price of a standard non-member ticket starting at £8 (£6 concessions).

The bar will be open prior to each film serving up a selection of drinks and snacks.

I have enjoyed taking part in events such as Scots Opera before we came to live in the area. Since then we have enjoyed both attending events and the splendid cafe In the foyer. It is a brilliant example of a local/regional community arts initiative and must not be allowed to falter.
