Held in the John Kinnaird Hall, here at Birnam Arts, the headline performance of the 2017 Niel Gow Festival features Archie MacAllister & Sileas Sinclair and internationally acclaimed fiddle and guitar duo from the Orkney Islands, The Wrigley Sisters who began performing together - Jennifer on fiddle and Hazel on piano and guitar – when they were 8.  Their universal audience appeal reflects both the calibre of their music and the effervescent charm of their

Sìleas is from Connel, near Oban in Argyll, and has followed her dad‘s footsteps into the traditional dance music scene. Playing both accordion and piano she joins Archie McAllister, a West Coast style fiddler with influences from pipe music and also from the North East fiddle style which he played since he started.

He plays and has recorded with many different bands from both the folk and dance band scene; these include Skipinnish, Ross Kennedy and the Jura Ceilidh Band.  

 Tickets can be collected at Birnam Arts prior to the performance.
