The Birnam Arts Centre is a delightful multi-purpose arts, conferencing and entertainment venue encompassing the fantastic Foyer Cafe, Potter's Junction Gift Shop and the Beatrix Potter Exhibition. Pop in to the Foyer Cafe for breakfast, grab a delicious coffee with a selection of our homemade baking or enjoy a light lunch whilst browsing on the free WiFi. Pop upstairs to view the latest of our monthly art exhibitions before visiting Potter's Junction to purchase a unique gift for your loved ones or yourself!
Birnam Arts is a community owned and run facility with charitable status. Being a not for profit organisation means that any profit made from our areas of business such as our cafe, shop or conference business goes back in to our arts and community programme and helps us to hire out our facilities to local community groups and individuals at a reduced rate. We thank all of our customers as they really do help benefit the local community. You can read a little more about how we operate in this article by Positively Scottish.
Celebrating Beatrix Potter's many links to the local area, The Beatrix Potter Exhibition will fascinate enthusiasts whilst the vintage play area will keep young children amused for hours. Take a walk through the idyllic Beatrix Potter Garden to visit Mrs Tiggy Winkle in her house, see Jeremy fishing by his pond, watch out for Mr Fox, and of course see if you can find Peter Rabbit himself!
Entrance to the Beatrix Potter Exhibition is £3 per person and no more than £12 per family.
