Birnam Arts presents Kona Macphee, giving a pro bona reading of her poetry in aid of UNICEF.
Kona was born In London in 1969 and grew up in Melbourne, Australia. Her eclectic occupations, apart from writing poetry, have included composer, violinist, waitress, motorbike mechanic, computer scientist and software developer – a very busy lady!
Kona now lives in Crieff, Perthshire, and received an Eric Gregory award for her poetry in 1998.
After the performance, Kona will be selling copies of her books – all profits from this will go directly to UNICEF. To help with funds, Birnam Arts will also be donating 10% of ticket sales from this event to Unicef.
