Ageing Creatively: Well Kent Places Workshops

Ageing Creatively: Well Kent Places Workshops

17 April 2024

Celebrate your local knowledge and enjoy sharing some creative printing and drawing techniques with artist Alison Price. If you often read about art classes and think "that sounds interesting but I couldn't do that" then this is the one for you!

Alison will gently guide you through ways to transform your knowledge and memories into a work of art that tells a story about your own personal experience of the area.  Think about familiar walks or places you visit regularly, or what about your favourite haunts when you were wee?

We all have our own names for these places either through local knowledge passed down through families or made up! At the end of the project you will have a piece of work that celebrates your own personal place and leaves a lasting record for others.

These workshops are designed for members of the community who are aged 60+

Please attend all three sessions.
